Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome is a male, Husky, about 1 year old. He is friendly and loves attention. Handsome has lots of energy and does not appear to have had much training. He needs a guardian who is willing to devote some time to his training. Huskys can run great distances, so he would do best with someone who is willing to walk him on a leash or with a fenced yard for him to play. He was originally brought to the shelter by Animal Control from the Monterey area. Handsome was adopted and returned because he is not housebroke, and was not easy to handle. He, also, did some digging and pulled up some plants. These are all issues that can be addressed with training, if a guardian is willing to put in the time and effort. IF you have the time and the patience, Handsome may be the dog for you. Use ID# 4-3-3. If you are interested in any of our homeless pets, please CALL IMMEDIATELY. Due to lack of staff and time to check email, we ask that you call the shelter at 574-896-5060 to insure that contact is made. Our hours are: Mon.-Sat., 10am-4pm central. If unable to get through to staff during public hours, please keep calling until contact is made. If calling after hours, please, leave a message on the answering machine. We will return calls, if you leave your name and number. Thank you.
