Doby is a very handsome red and rust, cropped and docked, 6 year old male. At our home he lives with our 8 year old son who he gets along well with. We also have a female Doberman that he so wants to play with and they can really get going when she allows him to play with her. Sometimes our girl can be a bit of a princess and when she says stop he immediately backs off and goes looking for another adventure. He loves his toys, especially balls, and likes to play fetch although he thinks the object of the game is to try to stuff as many balls in his mouth at one time once you throw them. He is housetrained and rides well in the car. He’s not a big fan of the crate, which we are trying to work on but if you had a nice area to baby gate off he would do well with that too. He needs a bit of work on his leash manners, he does pull but a bit of obedience should clear that right up. He knows sit, down and how to give paw and really once you see him give paw he’s so cute you are willing to give him anything. He loves his people and will follow you anywhere and is always interested in what you are doing. He has average energy and would do well with a nice walk or two during the day or a good game of fetch in the backyard. He will make anyone a great dog so please consider making Doby a part of your family.
