Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mac came to us this past spring. He had been kept outside, on a short chain, with a crate that was much too small for him. His owner had fallen on hard times and needed help, and that's when Mac came to us.
He's been a complete pleasure to have at our rescue! But, this fella needs and DESERVES his forever home.
Allow us to tell you about him....
Mac is playful, funny, kind, gentle, athletic and remarkably agile. He likes to romp around a nice grassy yard. He absolutely loves to play with other dogs (small, medium or large). He's never met a stranger. He knows to sit, stay and lay down. He can lay down and roll-over faster than you can say "sit" if he thinks there's even a tiny chance you might scratch his belly. He is a lover of life and if you watch, him he seems to truly enjoy himself no matter what he's doing. And....don't EVEN get me started on his adorable face! I'd be here going on and on for hours!! We are told he's part Bloodhound. And as such, he likes to sniff the ground lots whilst walking and well, there's some slobber too. Not much, but there is some. However, I PROMISE you this--the slobber becomes invisible the second you peer into this sweet feller's eyes. Slobber or no slobber, you'll be in love!!
He is larger in stature (weighing approximately 70 pounds). We have to guess about his breed make-up, but we think he has the playful and goofy nature of a bulldog and the mild-mannered, gentle and affectionate nature of a Bloodhound. He's truly a unique mix of breeds that makes him 100% fabulous! Still not convinced?? Come meet him, you'll see. He will be the perfect companion!
