Benjamin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Benjamin's Story...
Little Benjamin was turned into the shelter because his family "was moving and could't take him". Sadly we hear that a lot in the south. Benjamin is sweet and playful and likes all dogs, cats and all people. He is neutered, utd on all shots and HW tested negative. Benjamin is doing very well in his foster home with a doggie door so he seems housetrained. He is 2 years old and weighs 14 lbs. What Benjamim would like to have is a forever home where he is part of the family and never gets left behind again. How loves attention and lots of affection. If you would like to fill out an application for Benjamin, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com We will send you info and an application. Thank you for looking at this sweet boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benjamin, a Spring Valley Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Spring Valley, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Spring Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spring Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spring Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Silky Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spring Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
