If you're looking for a mild mannered, well-behaved, laidback shar-pei, then Melinda just might be the right one for you. She is a 4 yr. old cream colored, 48 lb. beauty with lots of wrinkles and folds around her face and neck. Her coat is very soft and in excellent condition. She would be best suited to a home with older children (>8 yrs. old) and should be the only pet, unless she is paired with a low-key older dog. Absolutely no cats. She rides beautifully in the car and walks nicely on leash. She is an indoor-type dog who only likes going outside for short trips, not meant for long outdoor excursions. She's a "couch potato" at heart...no hiking boots for her! If you can give a quiet, unassuming shar-pei a home to call her own, please fill out an application for Melinda at our site @ www.PeisandStrays.com. Please note that Melinda is being fostered in Vermont. She is spayed, housetrained, and up-to-date on basic vaccines.
