Autumn's Story...
Autumn was from a small rural shelter that was beyond full and was going to have to euthanize for space. They put out a huge plea for help. We decided to take on Autumn. She is so sweet and only about 3 - 4 months old. She is around 30lbs right now, she is not going to be a small dog. She is good with kids, dogs and cats. She is fixed, had what shots she can for her age, on monthly prevention and been dewormed. If you are interested in this sweetie please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Plainfield Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
