My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Meadow (HWTH#14433A). She is a Dachshund mix, DOB: 9/11/11. Meadow weighs approx. 12 pounds (she is slightly overweight) and stands 10 inches at the shoulders. Meadow was rescued from the local animal shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized. Her foster mom says Meadow loves attention and tummy rubs, does not like to be held, only sit in your lap. She is good with other dogs but needs a slow introduction. Meadow pottys on pee pads and is a wonderful loving dog that was not treated well in her former life. She needs someone who can be kind to her and have patience so she can warm up to you. Meadow is learning to play with toys. She rarely barks. Meadow does have a level 1 heart murmur, but shows no signs of health problems. She is non-destructive! She is crate trained.
