Juno - At Petco's Story...

Juno is a one to two year old, long-haired beauty. She is quiet and reserved but is loving when she develops a trust. She doesn't like to be held much but will follow you to be with you and will especially loves to sleep on your bed. She'll probably do best in a quiet home ... possibly best as a single cat. Can you save this kitty? * Our kitties are: Spayed/neutered, combo tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, administered vaccines (age appropriate), treated for parasites, and most have microchips. Our adoption fees are low. Most are $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno - At Petco, a Germantown Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
