Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Ricky and I've had a wild ride getting to this awesome place. Are you sitting down?? I was adopted from the County shelter, than they left me on the street. I've seen this kind of thing on TV so I knew exactly what to do! I picked the nicest, prettiest lady and cat lover, and refused to leave her deck, crying pitifully until she let me in and fed me. My strategy worked! Soon I was sleeping in her bed and taking over the whole house. Because I had a microchip, she tried to reach my adopted family but they wouldn't return the calls. I refuse to take this personally, however and charmed my new mom into loving me. Wouldn't you know it, she HAS an older cat already and that old grouch didn't want to play nonstop like me. Hmmmp. So my new mom called AWLMC. When they came, we had a blast. I crawled all over them, head butted, rolled around on the floor showing them my white tummy, chased toys, and leapt far up into the air just to make a good impression on them. (I think this strategy worked too because now I'm at their shelter in a really cool room with other cats that will play with me instead of hiding). I like it here too, but …I sure would like my own family. I'm just a little two year old. Perhaps I belong with you???
