Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pleased to make your acquaintance- I’m Ellie. Want to hear something funny? Yesterday I overheard a conversation where some folks were wondering about my baffling breed mix. One gentleman suggested that I am a Bitsa- bits of this and bits of that. He thought that I may be part schnauzer, part Labrador retriever, part wire haired terrier and part warthog (I think he may have been just joshing about the warthog ‘bit’). I call myself a Lotsa- lots of love, lots of silly and lots of fun. Affable and diplomatic girl that I am- I going to go with a Lotsa Bitsa!
I live in a great foster home with a cadre of other canines, and I get along just fine with each of them- even the self-appointed disciplinarian, a stern little female mini pinscher. I weigh 22 pounds, and am a good bit bigger than her, but she has much more attitude than I will ever have. My foster mom is always telling me that she loves the grizzled little whiskers on my face, and she laughs out loud at the way my too-big ears stick straight out from the sides of my head, then double back and drop straight downward. She is happy that I am heartworm negative and that I crate agreeably at bedtime- I don’t want to get cross ways with that mini-pin so I have learned to follow all the rules!
I enjoy meeting new people, both adults and children, and look forward to finding and settling into my forever home sometime real soon.
Please contact my foster mom at 225-505-9831 or by email at pdcarson@cox.net if you'd like to meet me. Did I mention that I am an adolescent/young adult at or about a year old?
