My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Magnificent Mango is an awesome, loving, laid back long hair Chihuahua. She is about 3-4 years old and loves to be the center of attention. She is a complete lap dog and will climb on your chest to give you kisses. She was found as a stray and brought to the shelter and probably had pups at one time. She loves everyone that she meets and couldn’t be any sweeter. Even though she gets along with all the dogs in her foster home she seems to prefer to be the only dog. She has not done well on the meet and greets with other dogs. She snarls and shows her teeth. While it is obvious she will eventually get along with the dogs in the home as she is now we think she is telling us she prefers to be the only dog and get all the attention. She also did well when she met well-mannered children over 4 years. Mango is spayed, michrochipped, heartworm negative, current on all vaccines and weighs 5.9 lbs. She is housebroken and currently using a doggie door. She sleeps in a crate but she hates it and would like to sleep in a bed, preferable yours. Oh and she also takes stuffed animals outside and buries them in the flower pots. She’s really quite cute and has a special personality. Her adoption fee is $175 which includes her microchip registration.
