Hello there! My name is Zazu and I am a 1.5 year old, gorgeous peach faced lovebird. When I came to Florida Parrot Rescue, I had a really bad eye infection, but thanks to the wonderful FPR veterinarians, that is all behind me now! My foster Dad has me eating a great diet of quality pellets, fresh vegetables, and some fruits. I am not too crazy about nuts, but I do really love birdie bread and of course millet. Dad is working with me on liking this chop stuff, but I am sure I will come along eventually. I love baths and playing with my toys, especially the ones I can destroy like the little dinosaur I am! My foster Dad says I am quite the clown and that I am very active – I am also a skilled shoulder rider and I can talk some, too! I also like to hang out with you while you work. I am fine around other animals such as dogs, just remember to be careful with other species of animals along with birds in the home. I am ready to find my new family now, so won’t you come and meet me soon?

An avian veterinarian has properly vetted all birds before they are placed up for adoption. Adoption fees include the bird’s cage IF the bird has a cage - most do, but please ask!
