CLEMENTINE's Story...
See that pretty girl in the picture? No, silly, the one with the floppy ears! It's me! Clementine, 3 years old, 75 lbs, Pit Bull. Most people call me a lover. Lover of everything and everyone really! I love to play with toys, love to eat snacks and I love a good friend by my side. This time of year is one of my favorites because it's perfect for snuggling by the fire and sharing a blankie. Us pitties have real short fur and need extra cuddles to stay warm! I'd do great in a family environment or a single home, with other animals or as an only pooch, as long as it's my forever home I'll be happy! Does your fireplace have room for one more in front? Fill out an application at pixieproject.org so we can schedule a meet and greet. I'm spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. adoption fee $250. XOXO

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CLEMENTINE, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
