Please Meet Athena. Athena is a beautiful, purebred Black Boxer with Natural ears and a docked tail. She is 7 years young! She is the perfect combination of playfulness and snuggles! When in a fenced in area outside, she will run and play, as if a puppy. As soon as she enters the home, she is ready to snuggle. Outdoor playtime….indoor snuggle time, how sweet is that? Athena is spayed and current on vaccines.
Athena is petite and very calm therefore would do very well in a condo, townhouse or apartment setting as long as she is taken for walks throughout the day. She walks beautifully on leash, not pulling at all. She is also potty trained.
She was surrendered to a shelter as her family’s circumstances had changed and they could no longer care for her properly. We were told Athena had lived with children and was perfectly fine. Athena also is wonderful with other dogs. She had lived with a beagle and a smaller mix in her previous home. In any event, according to Athena’s foster home, she is just “the perfect dog.” Please keep in mind, the difficulty photographing black dogs. We can assure you Athena’s pictures do not do her justice…she is strikingly gorgeous!
