Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello new friends!! Thanks for clicking on my picture! Let me tell you a little bit more about myself so that we can get to know each other better!
My name is Annie and I am a 9 year old Maltese/Poodle mixed female who came to NBS Animal Rescue when my elderly owners family surrendered us to a local shelter when our owner could no longer care for us. A really kind shelter volunteer contacted NBS and asked if they could help us get out of the shelter as we were so scared there! Our owner loved us very much but she wasn't able to care for us properly so we had a lot of skin issues, matted fur, and skin cuts from jackets that she had on us 24/7 for a very long time that were way too small for us. While we miss our owner, we are really happy to be pain free now and living with a loving foster family!
My brother Sammy and I visited the doggy doctor and got some medicine for our skin, went to the doggy groomer and got a complete spa day makeover and now our skin is super soft and our matted fur is gone! I am a sweet and loving little lady who can be shy when first meeting new people, get along with other mellow, gentle and calm dogs, am potty trained, and love to snuggle with people. I am looking for a home in which my people are home most of the day, like to go for walks, and a home that has either no kids, or kids that are 10+ and are gentle and quiet because I can get scared at loud noises and quick movements.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.
If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have.
You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
