My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's SUPER WALLY!!!

Hi there! My name is Wally and I am a 12 week old male Chihuahua mixed male puppy who came to the awesome volunteers at NBS Animal Rescue when I was found as a stray in Saginaw, Michigan. I'm super excited to be living with a great foster family who loves me very much and is helping me to learn that people are kind, gentle, and usually have tasty treats to share!!

I am a playful, energetic, and sweet little fella who is super smart! I'm potty trained already, get along with other gentle and playful dogs, am learning how to sit, lay down and walk nicely on a leash, and I'm up to date on all of my vaccines! I'm looking for a home that has a family who is home often for me as I can't hold my bladder a long time as I'm still a puppy, is willing to help gently train me and teach me how to be a good adult dog, and who has a fenced yard for me to romp and play fetch in with you! I can be really shy and nervous around new people at first, so while I think I would like young kids eventually, their loud voices and quick movements would probably scare me at first so I'd like a home where the kids were gentle and had dog experience and were 8+ years old.

If you think I might be the perfect dog for your family, please visit www.nbsar.org to fill out an online adoption application. Thank-you for choosing to adopt!
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!

Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.

While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
