My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Elsa was found wandering lost and alone and near starving. We are so thankful someone spotted her and took her to a safe place while she begged for a rescue to help her. One look at her beautiful blue eyes and we were determined to help Elsa find a loving home where she will never have to worry about her next meal again.

Elsa is a 1 year old, 45 pound, purebred, Siberian Husky with a love for life and everything in it. With nutritious meals she can count on, Elsa is already gaining weight and should fill out to a healthy, 55-60 pounds. We do not know why but someone shaved her beautiful coat before she was found but it is sure come back gorgeous, lush and warm just in time for winter. Elsa is very sweet and gentle with other dogs and kiddos too. She absolutely loves toys and can be found trotting around her foster home with her favorite tennis ball in her mouth hoping to entice someone to engage her in a game of fetch. The ideal home for Elsa would be in an active household that understands the need to keep her both mentally and physically engaged. She would make an excellent jogging or hiking buddy and will do best in a home with someone who is home often and another pooch to hang out with is a plus as well. As with all of our dogs, we recommend a basic obedience course so that Elsa and her humans can learn more about one another. We think a well-trained family is key for any working breed. Elsa is an amazing girl and is sure to be a great addition to a very lucky family.

Our adoption fee for Elsa is $300 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.
