Maggie's Story...
Maggie came in to rescue with all of her siblings (the Simpsons litter). They were born at the beginning of August 2014 and are all friendly, happy puppies. We are unsure of what breeds they are, but possibly retriever/shepherd/collie type crosses.

Maggie is a fun, exuberant puppy who is the runt of the litter weighing half the amount of her biggest sibling! But do not let that fool you. She more than makes up for this with her larger than life personality! Maggie will do well in a busy home or family with a secure yard and she will need regular daily exercise. She is a sweet girl who enjoys cuddles at bedtime but also enjoys rough and tumble play with her siblings. Her house and crate training is coming along and she sleeps well through the night occasionally needing to go out for a pee. She also does well with the indoor cats in her foster home. If you're looking for an entertaining puppy come meet Maggie today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Saskatoon Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Saskatoon, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Saskatoon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saskatoon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saskatoon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saskatoon paves the way for another one to be saved.
