HUDSON's Story...
Meet “Hudson” our Galerie D’Anjou Mall superstar! This poor little guy was probably dumped by some heartless human in front of The Bay entrance near a very busy parking lot and surrounded by boulevards. It's a miracle that after 4 weeks on his own he survived!
And even luckier that he had guardian angels looking out for him. His rescuers went back night after night to feed and eventually trap him. They did not give up. They knew that he would not survive on his own at his tender age for much longer. The threats of traffic, predators, the colder weather and yes, humans too.

Hudson was trapped and he hasn't stopped purring and cuddling since!Hudson is one of the sweetest little kitties you’ll ever meet, although nervous at first due to being tormented by mean teenagers while he was simply trying to charm some nice mall employees. Once you gain his trust his a real purr machine and loves attention, he will make a terrific companion for someone. Photos do not do him justice. He has the most beautiful charcoal grey coat, that is medium length and silky smooth. He likes other cats and dogs too. Hudson is only 6 months old, he’s been sterilized, vaccinated, treated with capstar and received and Advantage multi treatment. Hudson is so deserving of a furever family that will always love him and never abandon him again.

If you think you can offer Hudson what he so deserves, email us at And we thank his very special group of rescuers who did not turn a blind eye, did not think "oh someone else will surely help". With an act of kindness, they changed the fate of this precious life and we are honoured to be part of his journey

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HUDSON, a THORNHILL Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
