About Sweet Josie
Sweet Josie and her litter mates were found in a box in Miller Park. Josie is the biggest of the bunch and a self-confessed food hog. She climbs in the middle of a plate of food to make sure that she gets all she wants!! Full of personality (as well as food) she is a beautiful black and white tuxedo and has unusual white ear tufts. The kittens were born around August 1, 2014. Contact us for more information about Sweet Josie and her sibs.
Visit www.aarfanimals.org for information about our adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Josie, a Winston-Salem Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Winston-Salem, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Winston-Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston-Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston-Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston-Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
