My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our boy Jett is a one in a million kind of dog that made us scratch our head and wonder how in the world he ended up in a high kill shelter being as affable and happy and smart as he is. This 2 year old, 35 pound Wheaton Terrier mix is probably the most easily trained and disciplined dog will you ever come across. He spent 4 days with a wonderful trainer in Nashville as we were testing him for a possible movie role. He would have been perfect for any role thrown at him except that he is black and that doesn’t translate well on screen. But in person…this handsome and happy boy has the personality of the class, Mr. Congeniality. His fur is soft, not wiry, and has a beautiful wave with curls that make you want to ruffle his fur. He has a great head of hair that surrounds those happy, dark, sparkling eyes of his. Jett is bright and follows directions beautifully. He rides in a car like a charm and takes everything in life with such great joy and ease. He would make a great therapy dog, visiting nursing homes or children in hospitals. He would easily bring great smiles to everyone’s face. His foster mom says he is a completely well-rounded dog and is very submissive to any of the more “pushy” dogs when they assert their dominance. He is calm in busy traffic situations or generally busy environments. Jett is a rare find. He is healthy and happy and a great family pet that could fit in with any setting. It would be great to have him use all of his wonderful personality to brighten up the lives of all who meet him. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
