Peaches is a friendly 25 pound female Beagle who is about 3 yrs. old. She came to us from a shelter in a rural area of Kentucky. Peaches had been slated for euthanasia because the shelter had run out of space and with new dogs coming in they'd have to make room. Fortunately we were able to save Peaches and 2 other Beagles and take them into our Rescue's care. Peaches is current on routine vaccinations, heartworm neg. (on preventative), spayed, crate trained, and microchipped. She seems to get along fine with other same sized dogs, and is a happy, playful Beagle.
Peaches is new to the Safe Hounds Beagle Rescue family. We'll update her information as we get to know her better.
Important: Peaches is not at a shelter where you can go to meet her. All Safe Hounds Beagles are cared for in a loving foster home. Prospective adopters MUST submit an adoption application and be pre-approved before meeting a dog. Submitting an application does not guarantee you will be approved. We are unable to accept applications for specific dogs and cannot guarantee the future availability of this or any dog listed. Once an application is approved, we’ll begin a matching process--the right dog for the right home. Please visit our web page:
www.safehounds.com to learn more about the adoption process and to download our adoption application.
If you are unable to adopt at this time, please consider helping us so that we can continue to help them. We have dogs with medical needs and many hungry Beagles to feed. We are always in need of dog food and other items from our
wish list as well as financial support to help us care for our dogs.
