My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT....BELLA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME ASAP!!! Bella is a housebroken 2 year old Pittie mix who weighs 55lbs. We just can't believe this sweet and loving dog is still waiting! Please don't judge her by the "big bad pit bull" reputation...take the time to read about her:
Bella was found by our volunteers in SC dragging a heavy chain (which weighed half of what she did!) around her neck. Despite her difficult past, Bella still holds an incredibly amount of love for people. Her adoring enthusiasm when she sees her people will make your heart melt - and she is more than happy to flip on her back for a belly rub. (In fact, her SC foster parents still rave about this girl and are shocked she has not been adopted!) She would love an active family where she will have the chance to run and play during the day. (We think she'd be perfect for someone who is looking for a great running partner!) This girl would not be happy spending her days in a crate. Once she is done playing, however, she is most content cuddled up right next to her family. She is very smart, as well as strong, and she could benefit from some additional training with a family who is familiar with her breed. She is very eager to please, so finishing her training shouldn't be tough. She gets along well with other dogs, but she's not a fan of cats. She was around the neighbor's triplets in her SC foster home, and she covered them with kisses. Due to her size, we think she would be best suited in a home with sure footed kids. She is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is $375. Please help us find a loving home for this girl. No dog deserves it more!!!
