Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet PlayStation! He and his brother were found In Missouri about a month ago. A man picked them up while they were playing in the middle of a busy road, and took them to the local vet. They were two lucky little boys! This is all that is known about them.
A local rescue group contacted Adopt A Pet, but they could not get very good pictures since the 2 pups would not stop playing and were squirming to be put down. PLAY PLAY PLAY was on their minds, so PlayStation was named! His brother (X-Box?) was adopted, but PlayStation is here, looking for his forever home in Illinois.
PlayStation is now about 3 months old, and weighs just over 11 pounds. We've found he doesn't wag his tail, he wags his entire body! He is extremely sweet and friendly, although he can be somewhat shy until he gets to know you. Once he does, he wants to PLAY PLAY PLAY! And then snuggle. He is great not only with kids but also with other dogs.
Because we do not know what size, weight, shape, breed or appearance PlayStation will grow into as an adult, only those willing to take pot luck need apply. Because he is still a baby, he should not be left alone for long hours and will need a stay-at-home person to implement his housebreaking, socialization and general obedience. He will be ready for puppy school right after adoption.
You can meet PlayStation at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt him on the spot--and start playing--, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
PlayStation's adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo, rabies, and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and neuter.
