Meet Lenny! Lenny is a 4 year old poodle mix. His owners relinquished him to the county shelter because they were moving and didn’t want to take him with. He was covered head to toes in over a pound of matted fur. The PRC took him in and gave him a much needed hair cut. He is like a new dog! Such a loving boy who will snuggle up to you, but also loves to walk and explore the outside world. He does great with other dogs and is everyday showing us what an amazing dog he is. Lenny with need regular grooming to make sure that he is never again in the unfortunate state he once was. How can anyone resist those eyes?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
