Napoleon is a male Maltese mix approximately 9 months in age. He is tiny, weighing only 9 pounds currently. He will only gain maybe a pound or two more to reach his full adult size. Napoleon has snowy white long waves that are non-shedding. He has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut due to severe matting upon his arrival to the shelter. He is a sweet little guy and loves attention from people. He is very interactive, especially if there are tasty treats being offered. Napoleon will follow you around the house and is great company. He is easy to manage and catches on to the ways of the household quickly. He is an alert, smart boy, good at walking on leash (he prefers a harness) and riding quietly in the car. He is well behaved inside the home. Napoleon is good with other small dogs his size, but he is not a fan of large dogs. He will thrive in a home where he is pampered, doted on, and fussed over. He can be an only dog without a problem, or he would also be fine with a smaller doggie companion. He is good with children and prefers a gentle touch. Too much chaos and rough-housing will scare him. Napoleon was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he ended up after being abandoned in his home. He is a healthy little guy, fun and affectionate, and deserves a loving family. Napoleon is ready for his new forever home today!
Napoleon’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Napoleon is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Sharon and is ready for his forever home.
