Hi There! How you doin' I'm doin' grrrreeat! I'd be doin' even better if I had my own family! I'd like a home without small children. I like children, but I can get a little toothy when I take food from people's fingers. I am a silver back Dachshund and I want a nice, understanding, loving, family that likes a warm dachshund under the covers when they sleep. I also like to get under the throw on the sofa, chair, doggie bed, ummm where ever there is a cover or blankie you will find me under it most of the time, unless there is food, then I'm where the food is at. I'm a little roly poly and chunky bunky. I love to be petted, scratched, and I do run, and play, I love squeaky toys, I like cats, dogs, and I also like to go into holes sometimes. But hey, that's what Dachshunds do...right? Right..... If you love Dachshunds and want a buddy and someone like ME to keep you warm under the blankie, follow the steps below for adoption. STEPS FOR ADOPTION.
You can call 304-640-8298 and ask for my foster Mom or 304-228-9047 and leave a message. Just tell them you are calling about me, Oscar .
Adoption fee's are required to help this other pets receive the medical, grooming, etc. care they need. Adoption fee's must be paid in CASH.
RCAR reserves the right to refuse adoption when we feel it is not in the best interest of the pet.
Applications are approved or denied in the order they are received, therefore if you see the pet you applied for listed as adopted, this doesn't mean that your application was denied it may however mean that it was simply not the first application received. We will, in most cases notify an approved potential adopter within 72 hours.
Please understand that our group is run by volunteers, which means they have families, jobs, etc. that must come first, therefore emails and phone calls may not be returned the same day that they are received.
