Chloe's Story...
Chloe is a six old border collie. Her coat is beautiful, black with bright white and soft, soft, soft. She is just a sweetheart. Chloe weighs 50 lbs but her ideal weight would be between 40-45 lbs.

Chloe 's family lost their home due to a divorce. Chloe is in a foster home with other dogs and gets along with everyone. She is so playful. Loves children and has been raised around cats. She is completely house trained. Chloe is ready for a HOME.

Chloe's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, certificate of health and transportation. Chloe is fostered in Tennessee. She will travel to her new home once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to Illinois, Wisconsin.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Stamford Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Stamford, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Stamford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stamford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stamford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stamford paves the way for another one to be saved.
