Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finn is a 5 year old Long Haired Dachshund recently released from a commercial breading facility. Finn is a sweet but shy guy, and getting more confident every day. He loves the yard and spending time outdoors. He is also learning to enjoy snuggling on the couch with his foster mom. Finn is good with other small dogs and cats. He is potty trained, but needs help learning to follow you outside and back inside. Finn also needs work to learn to walk on a leash. An ideal situation would be a quiet home with other small dogs or cats, although we think he would probably prefer a female dachshund. Suggested adoption donation for Finn is $300 which goes toward the cost of veterinary care.
Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
