My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anthony's life began on the streets of a rural TN community. It seems so many knew of the young family and kept them fed...children played with them...however it was not until October 2013 that rescue was alerted.

Know what I think about Anthony...I think he's AWESOME!? People are caught up in “looks” and so they just keep going without a thought…

Anthony is gentle and kind and so ready to love!! He is well mannered and will be a best buddy…a shoulder to cry on and loyal to a fault! If you want to take a walk…he will go with you…be lazy on the couch…so be it…a hike? Sure thing!! Anthony is rather “plain” in most people’s eyes….but that is because they are not looking AT him…he will be the most wonderful companion yet no one sees him….THAT is a shame because there is much more to a dog than looks!!!

Anthony is a simple country dog in need of a loving home.He loves kids. He loves other dogs. He does not do well with cats, though.

Anthony is crate trained and house broken.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
