My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dear Santa Paws,

It is 2 days away from Christmas, and did you know that I have been waiting for 502 days for a new Kingdom!???! I have watched all my foster friends get adopted and find new homes, and Santa Paws, this year, I am begging for a new home. I have really been a good boy this year, I have done many new things, did you know that I like to play with other dogs now sometimes, depends on their size and stuff, but, I really do. I love my stuffed lobster, I cuddle, play and have so much fun with it! Now that I am on medicine, so my tail doesn't hurt, because you know Santa Paws, we aren't getting any younger, and we have those aches, I love going for walks! Sometimes, I even try and run! I like to play with my foster Mommies also, and cuddle up with them, and I love it when they rub my belly now. You see Santa Paws, this whole 502 days, I have never even had an application, that makes us all sad, because deep down inside, I am a gerrific kind of guy. There is a young spirit in all of us, even me at the tender age of 10 or 12, please Santa Paws, if you spot a home for me out there, tell them to read more about me here, http://www.royaltydogrescue.com/Shaggy.html

Love, Prince Shaggy

Prince Shaggy was been in the Kingdom since Aug 7, 2014, when he first arrived, he was severely sick with pneumonia, and his whole body was so mated that we had to wait 3 weeks to shave him, as he had to be sedated. Shaggy has progressed with his behaviors now as well, you can now pet him and he is no longer afraid. Shaggy does have arthritis in his tail, which he does receive daily medication for inflammation and pain. He would do best in a household without small children, as he tends to not have patience for them. He has a love for his lobster toy, loves to greet you at the door when you come home, and snuggle with his blanket. Shaggy likes to play with our Princess Chica and Prince Pablo, it is so fun to watch! Shaggy needs a quiet home, where he can enjoy the rest of his golden years, we are guessing his age to be around 10-12 yrs. We know that home is out there for him! Shaggy has been neutered, is heartworm negative, is current on his shots, including rabies and bordetella, he has been on flea/tick and heartworm prevention since arriving in the Kingdom.

Shaggy's adoption donation is $50.00
All of our Royal's are spayed or neutered, brought current on all shots, including rabies and bordetella, heartworm tested, wormed, receive a dental is needed and micro-chipped.

An application must be completed, submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our Royal Prince and Princesses. A completed application does not guarantee adoption approval
