Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Karma! Around 5 years old, this little Pug/Chihuahua mix has been given a second chance at life and is looking for her forever home. Karma is charming her way into everyone’s heart with her sweet personality and perfect pug attitude. A bit shy at the moment, she is coming out of her shell and has proven to be playful and very affectionate. Karma loves everyone – people and other dogs too. She will happily go for walks or play with her toys, but she’s happiest just hanging out with people.
Karma is a special needs girl who has "EPI" - exocrine pancratic insufficiency. This affects her digestion and absorption of nutrients. So, what does that entail? Karma takes digestive enzymes every day and eats a limited, low fat diet of Natural Balance bison dry food. She doesn't get canned food and she doesn't eat "extras" such as treats. Karma sticks to the basics! She gets a drop of B12 everyday under her tongue and takes Metrodonizole one time per day to keep her normal.
Karma is an active, sweet young lady. Her EPI is something that is managed and doesn't inhibit her way of life if managed correctly. Karma is good with dogs and loves playing in doggie daycare....and snuggling at home at night!
Karma can’t wait to find her forever family. In return, she promises to be a great companion for years to come. If you would like to make Karma a part of your family, contact The Rescue Inn at 216-369-9141 or therescueinn@gmail.com for more information!
