Casper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Casper's Story...
Casper is a gorgeous Red Bone Coon Hound that is going to wiggle his way right into your heart. One paw at a time. Casper locks eyes with you and then slowly climbs into your lap until you are holding him like a baby. You don’t even realize it’s happening until you have a lap full of Casper. Casper loves LOVE. He will bond quickly to his adopter and be theirs forever. Casper has been amazingly great with all dogs he meets and would be a wonderful family dog. He is 1.5 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. Casper is house trained, leash trained and ready to be your BFF. Casper is a little fearful of small children so we are looking for a home with older children or no children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Austin Redbone Coonhound/Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound/Greyhound for sale in Austin, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound/Greyhound dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound/Greyhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound/Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
