Susie's Story...
Currently 14 weeks old. Susie is one of a total of 7 babies found living in a city dump with their mother in middle Kentucky. 5 of the babies initially where captured and brought to us here at Change of Fate. Now happy and healthy Susie and her brother Jake are the remaining babies who need loving, forever homes! Susie has recovered from tapeworm and other internal parasites, kennel cough and ringworm! As of 10/29 we received an update that the 6th baby, a male will be joining us within the next day or two leaving only one more sibling and the mother at large! That boy will need to go through medical before he is available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie, a Wadsworth Doberman Pinscher/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher/Golden Retriever for sale in Wadsworth, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Wadsworth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wadsworth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wadsworth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wadsworth paves the way for another one to be saved.
