MEET NEELY.....a sweetheart of a pup who was passed by at the Moreno Valley Shelter because she had two bulging cherry eyes and an underbite -- not to mention she was matted to the bone. She has had her makeover and her eyes repaired and she is starting to look like the little doll she is. This little golden, 4-5 yr old, 11.4 lb, Lhasa/Terrier girl could not be sweeter if she were pure sugar! She is such a well mannered "lady" and while she could use a good orthodontist, the most important thing to Neely is a loving hand to stroke her and let her know that she is cherished. Neely loves to go out on walks, she is a great little eater and she LOVES to kiss and cuddle. She has good energy but not too much -- she loves to play with her person and show you her gratitude. Rescue dogs KNOW they are loved and special. She seems to be potty trained -- at minimum pp pad trained -- and she gets along with everyone. But we think that Neely would love to be your one and only so that she can hog all the love and attention. Do you have a lap that needs to be warmed? Neely is a wonderful lap warmer....and she is ready to come home to you!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
