NEW INTAKE, MORE INFORMATION FORTHCOMING
Meet Mia, a sweet, mellow, older Husky girl who still has a lot of love to give to a lucky family. Prior to SHRF rescuing her, Mia was surrendered to a shelter by a family who had adopted her a few years ago from another shelter. Through no fault of her own, Mia was unlucky in that their child had dog allergies and they could no longer keep her.
She is as sweet as can be and just relishes playing with her foster siblings. Mia loves being around people and will make herself at home quickly no matter where she goes. After an afternoon of playing, followed by dinner, she will take an early evening nap sleeping at your feet.
Mia is housebroken and, though crate trained, does not need to be crated when left unattended. She much prefers following her humans around the house and being in their company, even at night. She has been a longtime faithful and loyal family companion and deserves a loving, forever home for her remaining years.
As may be seen in a few of Mia’s pictures, her coat is not as full and fluffy as it should be in spots. That is due to a skin infection for which she is being treated with antibiotics. Her coat will soon grow back into the beautiful Light Grey and White that it should be.
Mia is healthy, Heartworm negative, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. Give this poor girl a second chance; fill out an adoption application on our website, www.siberrescue.com, today.
