MEET LUNA....and no, she doesn't howl at the moon!! This little 11 lb, 3-4 yr old, tri colored Shih Tzu girl is just a doll! She is very typical in her breed looks and antics! Luna came to us from the Orange County Shelter with a hole in her cornea and two vets said to remove her eye! Luckily, Dr. Jeff Werber was able to do a procedure that saved her eye and it almost looks 100% normal! She has very limited sight in her left eye but it doesn't stop her for a moment! She loves to play with her toys, give kisses, wrestle with the other dogs and just be a party girl! She is an equal balance of mellow and hyper, so a home where she gets lots of walks (and training) would be great! Luna is not a couch potato per se...but she is just as happy to snuggle and cuddle with you as she is to go out and explore the world! She does love to be with her people and in the middle of action, so a home with other dogs and even kids (over 8 yrs old) would be welcomed! She loves to play with other little dogs and she should have one of her own!! She is even okay with cats and loves to play with them!! She is a wonderful little girl and deserves a wonderful forever life. Do you have an opening in your heart for Little Luna Baloona?

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
