Rosie's Story...
Hi there, my name is Rosie, and that's my sister, Eleanor. We found ourselves at a high kill shelter in Tennessee and were quite scared there. The shelter is not a good place for dogs to be, especially at the tender age of 8 weeks old. Some nice rescue lady saw us and fell in love with our scruffy faces. She believes that scared in the shelter often translates to sweet and sensitive in a loving home.

So now we live in a foster home in the Memphis area. We just love our foster family. They have two other dogs, a cat and kids! We have been wonderful houseguests and they love us to pieces, but we are looking for our forever homes. Could you be a forever family for me?

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes our vaccinations, deworming, spay surgery, microchip, collar and tag. Please email alicat_ant@yahoo.com for an adoption application.

Thank you for considering a rescue pup - we are so worth it and will love you forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Nashville Border Terrier/Australian Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Australian Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Border Terrier/Australian Terrier puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Australian Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier/Australian Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
