Misfit (Black female, 6) and Timothy (Black and white tuxedo, 5) were returned because of a change in the owner's living situation. They wanted to travel.
We would love for them to be adopted together if possible. Below is a write up about both of these sweet lap cats from their former owners.
Misfit is a sweet girl. She is a lap cat. She still plays like a kitten and loves to bat around small pieces of paper rolled into a ball. She will actually catch them mid-air if you throw them. She loves affection but does not like you to touch her belly. She will get up and run away. She is smart enough to show you what she wants.
Timothy is a love bug. He will warm up to you and either sit on your lap, next to you or on the floor at your feet. He loves his belly rubbed and will be your friend forever if you brush him. Just show him his purple brush and you will be instant friends. Timmy eats his food very fast and will sometimes heave shortly after. The vet says not to worry. Timmy makes a small barking sound like a dog when he can't find Misfit.
They are really social cats and need to be around people. Misfit will follow us around just to be in the same area we are.
Timothy will often sleep in our doorway waiting for us to get up in the morning.
They are both afraid of small children who move fast. Timothy will silently hiss at some children out of fear but has never bit or intentionally scratched anyone.
Both cats would do well in a home where are adults or older children.
