Allie surprises me everyday with her open, willing to please spirit. She has learned so much since being here with us it is amazing. She is SO happy ALWAYS! She brightens anyone's day with her playful personality and goofy faces that she makes... she is so adorable you can't help but laugh with her. She loves kids and will sit beside them all day for the pets and snuggles. Allie is doing wonderfully at AWOL. She has a adorable, playful take on life. She loves loves to play chase and tries to engage humans and animals alike to play with her. She loves to chase you or you chase her or BOTH! lol.. such a fun girl! She is house trained and is not a chewer. Her favorite thing after playing chase is cuddling! She wants to be close to you, touch you or you touch her. She is great with all dogs and kids (don't know about kitties) but the kids need to be older as she has a 'wicked' tail and wags it at all times! The little ones would be in danger with a smack to the face. She has learned a few hand signals and is eager for more. She can hear some limited sounds, as sometimes she will startle at a loud noise, but hasn't had her hearing tested. Allie was saved from death row out of a Houston shelter. We don't know much of her background other than she was dumped, had been bred numerous times and is deaf. She was severely underweight, full of ticks and has the most loving wiggle butt you have ever seen. To meet her is to love her. Can't see why ANYONE would treat such a loving animal so cruelly. All she wants is to be near you, be loved and petted. She has no bad habits other than her happy dance....lol.... when she sees you she begins spinning! Her tail has not been docked, so it can be pretty wicked as she wags it so violently. All she seeks is a loving home that will return the love she gives so freely!
