Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is our little Maggie. She was brought in one day with a serious injury on her neck. She was infested with maggots and was very ill at intake. She was tested and we found that she was positive for FIV. We thought she might grow out of it as often happens when kittens are born with the disease. Unfortunately she has not grown out of it. Happily for Maggie she is doing very well and can be adopted. Having the diagnosis of FIV does not necessarily mean she will be a sickly girl. She will more than likely live a normal healthy life if given the proper care. She would do best in a home without other cats, but it is not mandatory. FIV is transmitted through deep tissue wounds and mating. She is spayed and friendly, so neither should be an issue. She gets along great with dogs. We have a great video posted on our facebook page of her playing tug with a doggie friend. She really is a sweet girl.
