My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These pups were thrown out under a bridge on a road where there were no houses. A construction crew for the telephone company was working in the area and found them. When our friends got there, all it took was the sound of them opening a can of food for three of them to run out. They were starving. There were supposedly five of them so a search began for the others. Sadly, the fourth one was found already dead from starvation, his body still warm. If only they had been found sooner. Of course, based on where they were dumped, they were lucky to be found at all. The fifth one was eventually found, but he was terrified. It took a trail of dog food, and about 30 minutes, to coax him close him enough to catch him.

They are still thin, but we're working on fattening them up. Their hair is patchy and missing in spots, but it will grow back. The important thing is that today they are all healthy and happy pups. They appear to be a mix of Dachshund and Bassett Hound and are about 2 1/2 months old. Briley is the brown pup with longer hair. Brenda is also brown, but with shorter hair. Brandi and Bruck are the black pups. Please help these four innocent creatures find the loving homes they deserve.

The litter has:
Briley brown longer hair
Brenda brown shorter hair
Brandi black
Bruck black
