Bette Davis's Story...
This girl has Bette Davis' eyes -- this super gentle, people-loving, and animal-loving girl is ready to play, cuddle and sleep with you every night of the week!

Bette Davis is the sweetest, most mellow cat you will even meet. She loves people and cats, and she's a lovely balance of social and independent energy.
Bette Davis is even more beautiful in person than in photograph -- mostly dilute calico with grey, taupe and peach markings, and loves to be brushed daily and petted whenever you've got a free hand. She's a gregarious young lady who likes company but isn't at all needy. She's healthy, spayed and vaccinated.
Bette Davis is ready to come home with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bette Davis, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
