Willis's Story...
Willis's adoption fee is $350.

Hi! My name is Willis and I am looking for my forever home. I am a happy, polite 8 year old Dachshund/Poodle mix that loves carrots and apple! I also like to play ball and Frisbee and to go for walks. My foster mom says that I am pretty good on leash and that I’m smart too! I know sit, down and roll over (well ½ way over!) I am fine with other small dogs and cats, but big dogs scare me, and a home with older children would suit me best. I don’t bark much, except a bit when I play ball outside. I play alone but LOVE someone to play with me. I am neutered, micro chipped and current on all my shots, and I weigh about 20 pounds. Am I the handsome fellow that you are looking for?? Please contact Tiny Paws to find me!! Love…Willis

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willis, a Toronto Poodle (Miniature)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Dachshund for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Dachshund breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
