Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available, so there is no need to email us for availability of this pooch. Meet and Greet instructions are provided below.
Lena is my name, sitting back and watching is my game. I'm a calm, laid back, Lab mix that loves to play with my doggy brothers and sisters and all the folks in my foster family - even the crazy teens! I am currently being treated for some mange, but my doctor says I've got a healthy, happy life in front of me - the only thing I'm missing is my forever home - that's where you come in.
Please fill out the application today and let's meet. I'm sure that my big eyes will melt your heart and then we can go home and take naps together and chill out. I can't wait to meet you!
As of October 31st I was 23 pounds and born around June 30, 2014. I was found abandoned in a field in Oklahoma with my siblings very thin and scared. My mom was hit by a car not far from where I was found. Now that I know how nice people are, I'm not scared any longer. I am very friendly and social and will make a wonderful friend to any family.
I'm hoping to find a forever home where I will bring you joy and you will be mine. I am being fostered in a home with other dogs and children and am fabulous with them. My foster doesn't have any felines so not sure about cats. I'm very sweet, and my foster mom says I'm me and my siblings are some of the sweetest dogs she's fostered. I can't wait to give you kisses and doggy hugs.
I'm being fostered with my siblings Teddy and Lady. The foster home in North Naperville is where you would go to meet this puppy with an approved application. You can find the on-line canine adoption application at our website at angelsonwheels.org under the adoptions tab of the website or the forms tab.
If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it's advised to submit an application immediately Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, we may get applications to bump yours. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.
The adoption fee of $300.00 includes: The spaying or neutering which is already done, microchip, all of the puppy vaccinations, rabies vaccination, dewormed with panacur, treated with either revolution, along with any other medical needs. You will also receive a free office visit to either Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park, Woodridge Animal Hospital, Springbrook Animal Hospital, Glen Ellyn Animal Hospital, or Naperville Animal Hospital.
Thank you for looking at our rescued animals!
