Stephie's Story...
My name is Stephie, I'm a small, shiny black kitty with a little spot of white under my chin. I have gorgeous green eyes, and the slim petite body type of a siamese or burmese. I was found as a stray so there is no telling what my true breed is. I love to be petted and loved, but I'm a little afraid of being picked up. If someone gentle and kind teaches me, I could easily be held. If you talk to me kindly, I look right in your eyes with love. I am quiet and clean and easy to live with. I have been spayed and have all of my shots. Won't somebody nice pick me please? Appointments available each Wednesday and Sunday from 6 to 8 PM. (approved applications only) please call 508-203-4240 or email Rose@angelcathaven.com for applications and directions, as adoption locations may change.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stephie, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
