Opal's Story...
"Who's one of the cutest and friendliest dogs around? It's me, OPAL. I'm a five-year-old Lhasa Apso/ terrier mix, and I'm sure to be your devoted and affectionate buddy for life. I'm not just cute-as-can-be, I'm also delightful, intelligent, and lively. I already know how to sit on command, and I'll respond well to additional motivational training. I'd be a great family pet, and I get along nicely with other dogs. Everyone tells me that I'm an all-around wonderful little dog, and I'm inclined to agree! On top of everything else, I've already been house trained. I'd love to have a little yard in my new home, but I'd probably do well in an apartment if I get my daily exercise, like a good walk. I sure hope you'll come visit me. I'm waiting for you here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter. I sure would love to find my forever home as soon as possible. I have a lot of love to give, and I know that I can add joy to your life. See you soon! Love, Opal" Kennel #3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opal, a El Cajon Lhasa Apso/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
