Izzy is a female Border Terrier/Poodle mix puppy only 9 months old. She has very pretty caramel, brown, and creme curls that appear to be non-shedding. Izzy currently has a shorter haircut. She is very skinny at the moment due to being stray and only weighs 7 pounds. Her ideal, adult weight is estimated to be 14-16 pounds. Izzy has a beautiful, unique look about her. She is a true baby girl, wanting to be snuggled close and protected. She has had a rough start in life, no question about it, and she craves gentle love and lots of cuddling. Izzy is very submissive and tender hearted. She prefers a calmer, more peaceful environment where she feels safe. She likes other little dogs her size and will probably play when she gets comfortable. Izzy seems to be quite smart and catches on to the ways of the household quickly. She also understands voice commands with ease and wants to please her people. Within hours, she learned how wonderful it is to sit in someone's warm lap and she also discovered that she loves to sleep stretched out cozy next to her human. Izzy rides quietly in the car and is a good little girl. She is hesitant out in public and likes to be carried in busy places. She is going to make a very loyal and devoted pet. Izzy was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued her. She is healthy and ready for her new forever home today!
Izzy’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Izzy is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Edie and is ready for her forever home.
