Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FRANKIE is a creamy white Toy Poodle who weighs a healthy 10 pounds, stands at 10 inches tall and was born March 17, 2008. He is a strong, sturdy, big boned Toy Poodle who has quickly captured my attention.
Frankie has an outgoing personality and disposition. He would be just fine all by himself, yet he enjoys all the other Poodles.
You should see him run! He will also play with all of the Poodles, including Molly and Pumpkin.
This boy is NOT dominate and would be fine for another fun loving, easy going companion (small dog) to play with. He comes immediately when I call him while greatly enjoying being loved and held.
Even with his light colored nose and eyes, Frankie is a happy boy and shows how proud he is: Hey, Man! Look at me! I am just way to COOL!!
Visit our web site for more great pictures of this handsome boy! Don't tell Mike, but I'm in love with Frankie, pink nose and all.
He has been a perfect gentleman in his kennel and our home. Never an accident and has quickly learned to relieve himself outside.
Frankie's Halloween costume truly reflects the gentleman he is! And what a SMART boy this Poodle is! When there was a bone on top of our living room sofa, Frankie wanted it.
However, he could not jump up that high. So, he figured out that if he pulled the blanket that the bone was on..... Guess what???
That bone fell off the top of the sofa and right onto the sofa seat where Frankie grabbed and ran with it.
Frankie also walks around the house with a toy in his mouth or will gather toys from the toy box and make his own pile! What a character!
Truly, a rare find for the family wanting a fun loving boy!
Frankie only had a few teeth removed during his teeth cleaning on Monday. He was neutered with no problems, heart worm tested negative, all shots are up to date, wormed and micro-chipped.
O.K. I got a little carried away on the pictures of him (on our web site) in the fall leaves, but he was so good and looked so pretty!
Frankie's $250.00 adoption fee (plus Minnesota State Sales Tax) will help pay for just some of his Vet expenses. His adoption fee also includes his kennel, a new blanket, a doggie bed, dog food, leash, collar, various toys, treats, a winter coat and lots of good information to help your adoption start off on the right paw forward.
NOTE FROM GAIL...
Frankie arrived at Picket Fence Poodle Rescue from a northern Minnesota Breeder along with 4 other Poodles. We are grateful to be able to help these Poodles.
While they all did lack in Veterinary and grooming care, they all had been in a home environment where love and attention was given. Thus, they have ALL quickly moved into our home and hearts.
Now they are ready for adoption and do deserve homes with loving families
who will care for them forever more.
Unlike certain neglected Poodles that we have received in the past, I have found all five of these Poodles quick learners and are very gentle, soft, easy going Poodles.
