PralineCP's Story...
COURTESY POST

Praline is a sweet talkative young lady. She is just about 2 years old now. She likes the other cats in her foster home. She adores her shy brother, Brickle. We would like to adopt them together, but her brother will take a very special patient person to see the potential in him. Both are playful, yet quiet little souls. Praline snuggles by her foster mom during quiet TV times or at night at bedtime. She would need to go to a home where there is at least another kitty she can be friends with. She loves to sit in the window watching the birds and sunning herself.

She has been spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV.

If you are interested in adopting Praline, please contact the Please Don't Litter rescue group at 717-574-3948 (text or call), 717-579-7606 (call), or kittykrazykim@frontiernet.net (email).

Adoption fee is $50. Application is required with references. If adopting Praline’s brother too, the adoption fee will be adjusted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PralineCP, a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
